Patrons' Point of View

This fall we are distributing a questionnaire to find out patrons' opinions about the UEC. One of the questions we asked was "How has the UEC helped you?" Here are some of the responses we received.

"Once I had very little time to finish a project. All the computer classes at the university closed in the evening. I used a computer at the UEC. It's a good thing the Center is open till 10 p.m."

"Somehow it happens every semester that I have breaks between classes, and I need to spend this time out of the university. So, I use the opportunity to come to the UEC to do my homework or watch a movie. I think the Center offers a very good service of letting students come and spend their free time there opposed to looking for places to go or things to do between the classes."

"Thanks to the books I found at the UEC I wrote a good research paper in English. Now I study English with a teacher and watch some English DVDs at the UEC."

"I found access to the literature necessary for writing my diploma paper in Oil Production Project Management. Two years ago when I was working on a project in Financial Management, I discovered that there is a very little number of books on the subject in my university library (Kyiv National Economic University.) But here I found all the books I needed. I was even allowed to check them out and take home! This impressed me very much. I am very thankful for the UEC's help."

"I come to the UEC to use Christian books, especially Bible dictionaries and concordances. Every time I come to the UEC my heart is filled with thanks to God and his faithful servants for the love that can be seen through specific things."
