UEC Fall Activities

This fall the UEC was busied with the activities of different churches and ministries.

With the beginning of the new school year on September 1, the Center welcomed many students who became our new patrons. Many of the International Christian University first-year students signed up for the library and received a free English Bible. Their Introduction to the Bible teacher Grady Bryan, a member of the Nivky Church of Christ, has the students regularly visit the Center's library in order to learn how to use Bible reference materials. His other class in English composition reserves rooms on a weekly basis to watch several movies, a requirement for the semester.

Roman Murmylo, a preacher from the Livoberezhna Church, hosts a Bible class for church members every Tuesday night at the Center.

Chris Lovingood continues to hold an outreach English class twice a week and our Friday Movie Night.

Rick Walker, a missionary among Churches of Christ in Kyiv, held a seminar for ministers on October 23 at the UEC. Rick now continues to have regular Bible studies at the Center on Fridays.

The Nivky and Livoberezhna churches continue to use the UEC as a meeting place for their small groups. The groups occupy the Center's kitchen and rooms on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights to enjoy cooking, worshipping, and praying together.

As our regular visitors, groups, and events change from season to season, the UEC stays filled with people, and continues to be a place to learn, enjoy a warm atmosphere, and have a good opportunity for fellowship.
