Ministry at the UEC

Above all, the UEC is a place for ministry. We provide meeting rooms to local churches and missionaries for them to minister to new believers, share the faith with seekers, and encourage those who are already Christ followers. We have several partners in ministry. Nivki Church of Christ and Livoberezhna Church of Christ organize several groups that meet at the UEC weekly. In 2006 we began a partnership with Rick Walker, a long-time missionary in Ukraine. Every Friday, for several hours, Rick leads Bible studies and ministerial training for several young Ukrainian men who are currently working in local churches. All the participants have access to our growing theological collection. One of those participants is Kostya Kysilenko. For several years, Kostya has worked as a minister for the church in Bila Tserkva, a small town about 2 hours south of Kyiv. The church there was started by the Highland Church of Christ (Memphis) and Kostya is sponsored as well by the Highland church. The Highland church is also a generous supporter of the UEC. We are glad the UEC is being used for the training of Christian ministers. We pray there are many more Kostyas who will use the UEC.
